The USS Batfish Submarine & Military Museum is one of Muskogee's most unique attractions. An actual World War II submarine, the Batfish sank three enemy submarines and 12 other enemy vessels during her tenure in battle. As a result of this record, the Batfish and her crew were highly decorated with nine Battle Stars, one Navy Cross, four Silver Stars, and ten Bronze Stars. Visitors can view the exterior of the submarine; however, interior tours are not available. You'll also find an army tank, cannons, and missiles, and military memorabilia for view. There is also a Walk of Honor that is a tribute to all veterans. The Batfish hosts special ceremonies during Veterans' Day, and May 5th of each year that brings the U.S.S. Batfish survivors together for a reunion.

Since July 2025, the museum has been temporarily relocated to the Robinson Gallery & Event Center at the Three Forks Marina in Fort Gibson.
